She cheated on me so i wrote this song what do u think

I dug my key into the side
Of her pretty little souped-up 4 wheel drive
Carved my name into herleather seat
I took a Louisville slugger to both head lights
Slashed a hole in all 4 tires
And maybe next time she 'll think before she cheats\
like a dog chasing a car, I do not know what i would do with it if i caught it----Joker

    I just wanted to see what girls think when the lyrics are switched. If you dont know this is a verse from a country song that Carrie underwood sings. I feel if a man wrote a song about destroing a womans car all thewoman groups will be up in arms i jsut want to see what happens Thanks

    Country song lyrics are often kind of strange and they sometimes talk about things that'd probably put people in jail. They ARE stories though.

    I think what you're noticing is related to male and female behavioral differences.

    Women who feel wronged might attack a man in a safely aggressive way like this (destroying a car, breaking something, spreading gossip) because they aren't likely to go and hunt the other party down or punch someone. (!) :shock:

    I have this conversation with my wife all the time. Women will give a "You go girl!!!!" to this behavior but if a guy wrote a song about breaking into a cheating g/f's house and smashing her ceramic cat collection they would burn his album in front of the Capitol Records building

    depending on the song.. if I like it, I'll "root for" the singer, male or female.

    but like said, songs are songs - stories! I'll like them, even relate (on some level) to the weirdest lyrics there are BUT in real life it's a whole another thing.

    destroying someone else's property because the other person cheated on you (or whatever) is not cool. keying their car, breaking in.. anything. guy or girl, it's a stupid thing to do, if you ask me.

    No - he didn't kill his girlfriend; he killed their child. The news reports that he told her (the girlfriend) that if he couldn't be happy then neither could she, and then shot the baby in the head and asked her if cheating was worth it.
