Porch - live intro tab

Probably going over old ground so sorry if I am but I'd like to know how to play the intro Ed does live to Porch. If anyone can explain in pretty basic terms that'd be good (drummer turned onto guitar so go easy with me)

    Ok. I hope you know a little about basic chords and notes... Start off with an A chord and try the rest by mainly sticking to a singlenote line going up to a C and down to a B and a G and back to an A and repeat. A little rough but that's pretty much it.

    When waking the kids, revel in it. I used to find it very pleasing when I woke up my parents...until they came downstairs.

    Hehehe. I know the feeling. But there's nothing like the grat feeling of moving out, getting your own place, getting home a little too late and a little too drunk, wailing like crazy in the middle of the night and run into the neighbours the next day! Showed me a whole new meaning to the concept of 'freedom'. :D Ahh... Good times...

    Isn't it B B DDDDD with an A as a passing Note leading back to B ??? :)

    Thanks for the post! I was just thinking about this after watching their performance on Austin City Limits. I love the intro to Porch Ed plays on his blue Dussenberg!

    Works fine for me with just a A into a C, hitting the A string (w/fingers already in C) before a full C chord (if this makes any sense at all :? ) A little tough to get at first, but it works!
