The Gorge Amphitheatre in May would be f***ing great
I currently planning my Pacific Northwest trip for the next year, Washington, Oregon, Northern California.. It would be great to combine even more great experiences: travelling, camping, hiking, surfing, nature, PEARL JAM! Open air
Otherwise: Berlin Wuhlheide again (not in May..)!0 -
Okay, so my theory is based on information in the article that included this quote from Mike,
"We're building up to our big 20th anniversary," McCready said. "We're trying to have a little campaign of building rereleases with new mixes and new outtakes up until that time. We're trying to do a movie with Cameron Crowe with all of our existing footage."
In that article it was mentioned that they will be playing dates in South America in 2010. Then (and this is just me thinking here) i think they will probably throw in a handful of dates in the U.S. at key venues they missed during this 2009 mini tour. New York for example. And they might even pop in a small handful in the European venues they missed in 2009.
Then, 2011 is the year they will formally let loose with what he calls their "big 20th anniversary". That is the year they have targeted for the release the Cameron Crowe Pearl Jam Documentary. They will then support that big 20th anniversary with a larger scale U.S. tour during 2011. Then we might have a while before we get to see them with that heavy of a schedule. I think they are building up to this 20th anniversary thing and will put a lot of effort into doing it right. They tend to understand the importance of certain things, like closing the Spectrum for example. I think they way they have discussed it, that this 20th anniversary holds significance to them and they will give it the proper attention.
But then they will take a break and possibly do some solo type things and some time away. But we will all have the great memories of great 20th anniversary shows, and a documentary (hopefully similar to the Neil Young Archives project which is amazing, 10 blue ray dvd's and 8 audio cd's just for his first decade of his career) to hold us over until they get back at it sometime down the road.
So that is kind of what i think, and also what i am really hoping for as well!0 -

Definitely Ireland and a few of the other smaller Euro countries they missed out on in August, yeah laugh now!0 -

Sure unless by 'see you soon' he means 10 years and by 'won't be back for a while', he means see you in less than a year?
Bizzarro Pearl Jam. :crazy:0 -

I can almost guarantee this - They'll play the midwest sometime around July 8th thru the following week or Aug 16th week as I'm going to be out of town :(If you have a chance to make life better for others, and fail to do so, you are wasting your time on this earth.

Here's one of those 'friend' stores, but my friend recently was interviewed for a job at a music venue and the manager of the venue dropped Pearl Jam's name during the interview process about possible shows this summer. They haven't been to this midwest city since 2006.
But again it's all just a rumor, good to hear that there is at least some communication going on.06/24/06: Cincy

Better not clash with the tribute tourdates, I'd be gutted
Dublin O2, Paddys Day weekend, bit of an Irish singsong, that'll do nicely0 -
