...just one of my indie obsessions!! 'White Winter Hymnal' and 'Mykonos' are definitely favorites! They're not for everyone, but I really dig them and are worth checking out!

I like them for a nice chill out album. Their harmonizing is top notch. Would like to see them live to see the interchanging of vocals. Hopefully they put a new album out soon.

  • can't wait for their new album. saw them twice last year. met them twice. extremely nice guys. both times were general admission so me and my girl were front and center against the stage. definitely a "stage banter" band

Not to take anything away from fleet foxes because i love them and i think they are better then the ganglians, but for those who dig that sound and style a good ablum in the same vein that came out this year is:

    ganglians- monster head room

They put out a self title ep in 2006:
    "She Got Dressed" – 3:29
"In the Hot, Hot Rays" – 3:04
    "Anyone Who's Anyone" – 3:50
    "Textbook Love" – 3:25
"So Long to the Headstrong" – 4:16
    "Icicle Tusk" – 4:38

Then they put out the Sun Giant EP & Self title full length in 2008.

I only have the sun giant ep and self titled.

anyone know where one could find the self titled ep? pm me if you happen to know :D

I saw them at Lollapalooza over the summer. Incredibly fantastic. They opened with the songs Sun Giant and Sun it Rises both kind of together and the harmonies were top notch. It's cool to see that they can keep the harmonies together not only on studio album but live in front of thousands of people.

Good luck finding it, just letting you know that it is not as good as the other ep and the full album.
