Awesome, can't wait to see your photos.

Don't think we'll have any luck with the weather, though: it was predicted to be 30 degrees on Tuesday, that's now been revised UP to 34!

Hey guess what? THIS IS TOMORROW!
  • I lined up at 4.45am in 2006 at AAMI stadium with some mad fun loving Italians for U2...somehow I don't think I'll be lining up that early tomorrow. The local council should provide us with a huge swimming pool outside the stadium to cool off LOL

I'm envious of my fellow Adelaide (well former Adelaide native anyway) who are attending the Adelaide Oval show Tuesday. My brother will be there hopefully front center. I hope you guys get songs like No Way, Tremor Christ and Breath :) You guys will have a blast and all came early to see Liam Finn you won't be disappointed. ENJOY.
I'm just flying around the other side of the world to say I love you

Sha la la la i'm in love with a jersey girl

I love you forever and forever :)

I still haven't heard anything of Liam's, so i'm looking forward to seeing him... i hear lots of good things... :D

I haven't missed the boys since they started coming to Adelaide in 1995 (i was just a young whippersnapper then, well 14 anyways...), so this will be another epic Pearl Jam moment for the Rad... :D

ok guys these are my predictions for adelaide, i think most of them will come true

1 - they will open with a slow song, possibly of the girl, hard to imagine, release or oceans!
2 - they will play got some as it wasn't played in perth
3 - they will play just breathe and the end back to back
4 - they will end with ledbedder
5 - they will play black or crazy mary
6 - they will play a couple nice rare older tracks like no way and nothingman (hoping for both)

anyway i REALLY hope we get a great slow opener like wash oceans HTI etc and i really hope they play brain of J nothignman and faithful

agree with pretty much all of it but got some was played in perth but will most probably be played again. I doubt they will play HTI as it hasn't been played in 2009. I say they will continue to play faster songs as intro's.

7 - they will play something from Quadrophenia and make Stacey totally lose it...

I really hope Faithful or Push Me, Pull Me is on the set list too...

I had a dream last night they opened with Porch... was very vivid too...

    happy happy, joy joy...

    :clap::clap:

Congrats to you too Spence... we really are two lucky Radelaideans... !!
i'm still gob-smacked... Although i haven't met any of the band, the fact they played something i love and specifically asked for, i feel like i've had my own personal "nod" from them... ahhhh.....
Now, if DP can her precious Black played, the universe will be balanced and happy...

The set list was just epic. It wasn't the typical "commercial stuff" like Daughter, Betterman etc... they're great songs, don't get me wrong, but to have our show filled with gems like Faithful, Brain Of J, In My Tree, No Way, Smile etc etc was just fan-bloody-tastic!!! (and if these other 'temporary' fans don't like it, go see Britney...)

The support acts, the set list, the bands energy, the night in general... WHAT A GREAT NIGHT!!!!!!!!!! Certainly a night i'll remember for many years to come...

Thank you Pearl Jam & everyone involved with making our dreams/requests come true!!!

  • Spencer and Nossie - how fucking amazing was that show! We all got given some amazing little treasures there last night - they really did cater to our wishes! I love that Ed even mentioned that apparently RVM hasn't been played here since 1995 - straight out of your thread! I was so stoked to get Release as opener, along with In My Tree, Brain of J, I Got Shit, Smile, etc etc... my favourite set list ever. Such a great night and I'm so glad I made the trip to Adelaide. Thank you Pearl Jam!!!
