    People were lining up from 7 in the morning. Once your at the front don't leave.....unless you can smash people out of the way to get back there.
    Once inside the venue there was no pass-outs.
    Lining up for a beer took 20 mins and there was plenty of bars around. Max 4 drinks purchase at any one time.
    I got my 4 beers and sat underneath the grandstand smoking weed. Great view to Finn/Harper on big screen.
    Stashed my last 2 beers for after the show.
    Moved into the pit 10 mins before PJ came on, got about 10 deep on the right without a prob, I didn't go further, I wanted space to ROCK!!! and had a great crowd around me for the same.

    Lots of 16yrld blond girlies pushing through toward the front, and quite a few Giants storming forward too.
    Afterwards, went back under the grandstand a had my last 2 beers, It was warm but it was wet.
    Sat and watched the roadies load the gear into masive trucks, and they were rolling out before I left.

    Well guess what, delayed 4 hours!!! I got to the stadium at 7.15 so missed EV on stage with Ben Harper. I still got reasonably close (probably 30m) but it was so awesome, loved it. I was 2-3m behind the second railing and saw a few people with 10C wrist bands.

    I'm spewing I didn't get the up the front, but still, amazing night, loved it!! Probably the best show I've seen of them I think.

    Qantas licks balls though.

    i think people need to keep in mind this is australia. we are laid back little sweeties. but when someone breaks the code we also tend to go off a bit.

    look, i tell people off for queue jumping in the local post office. i also hold a place for anyone who was in front of me and chase away the dickheads who try to take it. and i dont like scammers. at all. ive read the thread on lw ... dont know what this girls motives are yet. she makes a list to help other fans and looks out for herself. well thats just a contradicion. if she is a scammer she'll get one hell of a mouthful from me. and it wont be done in a way that gets me thrown out either.

    A few nice things happened last night and I want to share.......

    Meeting Paul Andrews, his missus and Kid was great. Really nice cool people and was thrilled for Marcus to be centre of Eds' attention. :D
    I met Mr Benjamin briefly to sell him a tic, so knowing the face behind the wheel of the Aussie Touring Van is groovy. :D
    Met up with Peter, AKA -Over5Horisons who is doing the whole tour and I was the first to sign his touring shirt,
    He's a nice bloke too. :D
    When I was 10 and on school camp, I was kissing a boy and he stuck his tongue in an I said " YUCK!!", and haven't seen him since...till the pre-meet. That was farrrrkin funny, was good to put that embarassing episode to bed. :D
    Got to Rock out all day and night with my best buddie, Thanks Chris, luv your guts :D
