Ten Club Appreciation

It always takes me a few days to recover even enough to articulately say "thank you." (I hope I'm posting this in an appropriate place.)
This band and this community, the latter based in the hard work of those running the 10 Club, have brought such joy to my life, I really cannot say thank you enough. When I first (finally) started seeing PJ live -- despite having been listening already for years -- I discovered something really profound and unexpected, that emanates from but goes beyond the music, namely a kind, caring, creative, intelligent, thoughtful community that has created its own space in the universe, surrounding this band, and so generously allowed me in and given me the opportunity to be part of such intense and wonderful experiences. These shows foster a spirit of appreciation and love that is so hard to find anywhere, period. This band, and the 10C, really know how to give back that love-- that, I guess, has been the biggest surprise. It's a privilege just to listen, but also to feel the love returned is an extraordinary thing to be part of.
I would feel this way even if I hadn't won the lottery for Philly 3-- but being 2nd row sure helped!
Thanks, 10C!
