haha, geez zenith i thought i left maths behind long ago!
    - dvd 16c/gb = 0.016c/mb
    - hard disk 20c/gb = 0.02c/mb
    - cd 43c/gb = 0.043c/mb
    - floppy disk $416.67/gb = 42c/mb
there you go kiddo - and remember those were just on wookie's rough estimates, not based on accurate average prices, but you should be in the ball park unless i did fuck it up. as for speed comparisons, I_GOT_no_IDea 8-) good luck!

we are pretty spot on with the hd - but the cd/dvd/floppy varies a bit - got my quotes from the office works website - and the more you buy, and the higher the capacity, the lower the overall price works out to be - but year, generally depending on size cds are between the .020-.040c range, dvds about 0.025c and, just who buys floppies anymore??!! i worked that one out to be .68c

but - dont know how we got on the cost debate - it was a question, but i answered that one - its the access speeds that have me stuck ;)
oh man - now i find out i just tried really hard to find an answer that you already had! never mind matey - my intentions were there and that's all that matters unless you have an assignment due tomorrow ;) :?

    today *yawn* ;)

    Hey Aus/NZ ppl....

u may recall my spiel bout the radio station interviewing us whilst on tour... travelling... The Seafm PJ correspondent.......

Well just got told of the 2nd interview (already had the pre-tour talk... they have played it 4 times so far in conjunction with a PJ tix give away)

They are ringing me and the boys @ 3am "perth time" on Friday 14th..... 5 am sydney time to record the 2nd interview..........

Our flight gets in @ 1030pm Thursday night and we are drinking straight thru..... Told the GM of the station to have the censors ready..... will be very pissy

Drunk talk.... swear words.... etc etc..... Makes for a ratings success for seaFM breakfast show...
great work priesty - do us proud with your pissy words! and i'm sure you get it a lot, but that's one avatar to be proud of dude.

    Cheers!!

To kick the tour off in fashion....I reckon I might recite the "NW" speech live on air @ 3am W.A time after 12 "warm" cans on flight + 25 vodka red bulls mixed with a bottle of Margy River Red as a night cap..... Just for all those poor bastards on the daily F3 commute to Sydney..... I know what i'd rather be doing...

As I remember, when the shows went on sale Auckland and Chch didn't even feature on the top 10 10C Store items, or if they did they were low low down. Don't know how accurate that is though, or what numbers that would mean but I reckon a couple of hundred at the most.

ok - very freaky thing this morning ....

a couple of months ago ... i had a dream about the cup, it was me looking at the horse listings, and realising id picked the winner. the horses name had two words, and when i woke up i thought it had something to do with toad and the colour brown - strange i know. :? so i looked for any toad/swamp/whatever related horses or brown jockey colours in the weeks leading up to the cup, but nothing ... i told eveyone at work about it, and we had a laugh, and everyones been joking about the mr toad name ever since

so this morning i go put my bets on, each way on my horses plus a box trifector, and take some tab tkts up to work and put some sweeps on - and im sitting there talking about this dream again, and how in it the horse listing was all in black print, except this winning horse which was printed in brown. someone points out perhaps its not the colour, its a name ...

so we read the form listings ....

    mourilyans trainer is herman brown
    shockings jockey is corey brown
and im trying to find out roman emporers stable nicname as i type ... if its anything to do with a toad i think im going to faint

I backed a greyhound at Adelaide last night that paid $12.10 and I had $25ew on it. That'll do me.

If I was having a slap today Id back the Saffer each way. About #5 or 6
