- if a cd costs 30cents and it holds 702.83mb, it'd cost 0. 043cents per mb or 43cents per gigabyte
- if a dvd costs 70cents and it holds 4.3gb (single layer), it'd cost 16cents per gb
- if 25 floppies cost $15 they'd be 60cents per disk, hence if a floppy disk costs 60cents and it holds 1.44mb (3.5inch), it's cost 41.667cents per mb or $416.67 (41667cents) per gb
Therefore, in order from least to most expensive, by this mathematics (probably dodgy):
- dvd 16c/gb
- hard disk 20c/gb
- cd 43c/gb
- floppy disk $416.67/gb
please someone tell me if i fucked up - don't want to ruin zenith's assignment!

Hey Aus/NZ ppl....

u may recall my spiel bout the radio station interviewing us whilst on tour... travelling... The Seafm PJ correspondent.......

Well just got told of the 2nd interview (already had the pre-tour talk... they have played it 4 times so far in conjunction with a PJ tix give away)

They are ringing me and the boys @ 3am "perth time" on Friday 14th..... 5 am sydney time to record the 2nd interview..........

Our flight gets in @ 1030pm Thursday night and we are drinking straight thru..... Told the GM of the station to have the censors ready..... will be very pissy

Drunk talk.... swear words.... etc etc..... Makes for a ratings success for seaFM breakfast show...

we are pretty spot on with the hd - but the cd/dvd/floppy varies a bit - got my quotes from the office works website - and the more you buy, and the higher the capacity, the lower the overall price works out to be - but year, generally depending on size cds are between the .020-.040c range, dvds about 0.025c and, just who buys floppies anymore??!! i worked that one out to be .68c

but - dont know how we got on the cost debate - it was a question, but i answered that one - its the access speeds that have me stuck
