hhmm - perhaps - tell him i need to know the access time in microseconds for the average thumb drive, cd, dvd and ram ... sounds easy, but ive had one hell of a fucked up time researching it

Ahhhh.....Wookie is such a fucking legend........straight onto skype as soon as I put the call out....getting response now

its a comparison table showing average capacity, cost per mb and the speed. I honestly know of no IT people who can quote the price per mb of a hd or old fashoned floppy off the top off their head, let alone the access speed. perhaps there are some especially anal ones who can. so i think its supposed to proove our research skills just as much. christ, i think all my researching on wolfman prooves i know how to drive a search engine

(and gold help me ... wookie, if you can, your not anal by any means .... just special 8-) )

its about 20 cents a gigabyte for a hard disk
if you by a spindle of 100 cds its shit i think the last set where about 30 cents a cd (cant be arse doing the math further)
for dvds i think the last set i got cost be about 70 cents a dvd (cant be arsed doing the math further)
set of floppy disks (25 pack) where 15 dollars i think, got them for office works (surprisingly)

    not anal enough i think

    ;) im a form girl
shocking has a great trainer who is due for some big breaks, and is coming off a win
roman emperor will prob only get a place, but hes one of barts
and mourilyn is carrying a pretty light weight, and can run and run and run - a real long distance runner - and thats what you want in the cup, the one that puts his ears and neck forward when the others all start to nod

the favs never rarely win in the cup - its a strange race to pick i think
