but yes. 7WC was awesome. thursday night i was front row centre. friday night i went with a different group and they pissfarted around on the north shore and we ended up late and i couldn't get downt o the front so ended up standing near the back with some 7 foot woman in front of me and i couldnt' see shit and i was so upset.

but thankfully i still had the thursday night in the best spot.

and it was 5 nights - the stuff and nonsense however was from the thursday night
7 foot women shouldn't be allowed out of the jungle.
(i don't actually believe that if anyone's shocked and appalled)

this particularly woman was also canoodling with her equally giant man friend.. so it was like a super tall BUNDLE of view blocking

happy people make me fucking sick.

    Holy fuckballs....

Leigh and I set up a deviant art page for his comic tonight and we found a Marvel artist (Mike Deodato Jr) on there who has drawn Wolverine, Conan, Hulk, Moon Knight -- a SHITLOAD of cool comics -- and his email address was listed so we thought we'd send him an email asking for feedback etc (not expecting him to reply) and he replied back within 10 minutes and wrote:

Your storytelling is very good and so the facial expressions. Backgrounds are good too. You have to get better on anatomy. The cover for Bustle is great. Good angle and composition.
I dunno how old are you but I'm sure you'll develop into a fine artist. You're very creative, the rest comes with time and practice.

Leigh's jumping out of his skin right now.....

I'd back you up on a call for Deep as opener! I included it on my list of possibilities in my thread "Adelaide 17th November 2009 Opener" which got no replies (loser), so to revive my obviously pathetic and uninteresting thread, i quote:
With apologies to Paul Andrews, as this more or less mirrors his Perth opener thread, but I just noticed the last 4 openers in Adelaide have been fairly unconventional:

    1998: MFC
    2003: Love Boat Captain
    2006 #1: Elderly Woman
    2006 #2: Porch

And how was this for a start to a show?! Adelaide #2, 2006:
    Porch
    Animal
    Spin The Black Circle
    Hail, Hail
    Do The Evolution

What do we think will be the opener and what do we want it to be?

I would love them to continue the trend and play something unexpected - maybe Alive, Deep, DTE, Even Flow, Go, Gonna See My Friend, Last Exit, Leash, Not For You, RVM, Tremor Christ or Whipping?
But I don't mind what it is - I'll be having a full body meltdown with excitement just as soon as the first chords are strummed and the first drumbeat hurled upon us!
    Bring on Radelaide '09! :D

well Ed dedicated a song to her at the solo hawaii shows, but she was still in hospital so she didn't really hear it. but the others that where in the accident were there. don't know how they knew she was in philly, i guess someone who knew the story told the band.

i guess we'll know more when she gets back from philly and tells the story.
