    if traffic isn't bad it should be closer to 45 minutes

    Yeah its 35-40 miles south of Boston, just off of I-95/I-495.
    Traffic can blow getting in & out, figure minmium hour drive from Boston after 3PM, longer later into rush hour.

    There is a commuter rail from South Station that goes to Mansfield, it is about a $12 cab to the venue.

    but the last train back to Boston is at 10:30, so that won't be too much of a help...

    The commuter rail shuts down relatively early, so I would not suggest this to people that want to stay for the show.

    Anyone interested in getting a carpool/designated driver thing sorted out? There are tons of us in the City.

    In the end I'll probably rent a car, but it would be sweet to meet some folks and share expense. (Plus I am sure ity would be greener and the guys would like that)

    I could be down with that; we will be staying with a friend in Brookline and I don't drink so I could drive a couple extra peeps.

    Ahh, I forgot that. I always take the rail and catch a ride home with friends....
