No I havent heard any of the boots yet. Not listening to any PJ until after the tour now...damn it!

    What gigs did you do?

I was fortunate enough to see LA3 (complete with Chris Cornell and Jerry Cantrell) and LA4 (Cantrell again). Absolutely incredible shows and sensational set lists.

Fate chose it for me. I had to be in NYC the following Monday. I got to see Bruce Sringsteen at the final ever show at Giants Stadium 9/10 and then Kiss the next night at MSG - kiss totally sucked, but I got to see a show at MSG, which was the main objective.

i just imagined someone stumbling upon that post without knowing it's context ... doompony's lost it!
i agree we should definitely start making some outlandish requests - surely if enough of us request giraffes they can make it happen; they've always been about being proactive and using the collective voice to make things happen!

Kiss sucked? haha Why? Sounds like a good fucking holiday! How long did you go away?

I really want to see Pearl Jam at MSG....as most people probably do. :D

Kiss sucked cause it was paint by numbers and Paul Stanley conducted himself like a total tosser, sledging other bands, saying how great kiss were compared to everyone else. The crowd was nothing like a pearl jam audince - loads of aggro. There was no interaction between the band members - it is obviously just about the cash to them now.

you can read about it here (my travel blog) http://pauljam.com

I've still got to write a few more entries and upload my concert footage from the two pearl jam shows.

so today i announced a game to my workmates where i would only respond to questions with a pearl jam song title or lyric.

it lasted for one question where i paused for a full minute and then offered someone some chips because "I got some if you neeeeeeeee-heeeeeeed it"..

    epic fail

That is an awesome idea...might try it on a few people & see how it goes.

If someone asks me what I want for xmas, I can answer: "A spanking, thats the only thing I want so much"

I'd be happy, but I'd cream myself if they did a new Who cover. Behind Blue Eyes or Bargain would be awesome!!!

Won't Get Fooled Again would be a better song for you then. No other song in the whole history of rock music contains a better scream than that one.
