I saw this this morning, and have thought about it throughout the day.
I think it is hauntingly beautiful. I feel the mannequin knows her days on show are almost over and that is captured in her pretty eyes, almost like she is remembering better days and saying, " please, please fix me, I can be useful again"
Yes, I know she is just a mannequin. :?
You may have painted it for completely different reasons, but hey, all art is open for scrutiny.
I was a bit dissapointed though that there were no more of your works there to look at, you go girl!

awwww.. that's awesome... i might quote you on that

i love mannequins. always have. i really like things that not many people think are pretty (like me!). infact i painted a rusted stop sign for someone once and wrote on the back "all the rusted signs we ignore throughout our lives, chosing the shiny ones instead" because that's what that lyric means to me.
