Is it just me or is the show durastically underrated when compared to the rest of the 08 tour? It just seems that a lot of people over look this show and overrate the MSG/Hartford show when I think this one hangs right with or beats these shows as the best of the tour. This show was the gem of last tour. The set was wonderful, the bands performance was great (minus a few lyric flubs) and the band/crowd interaction was great as well. I don't normally post way often, but I thought I would bring this up for others who were there or that want to discuss this great show! 8-)

  • Yeah it was so awesome from start to finish huh? From Can't Keep to Indifference. Actually, from the moment Eddie came out with the Kings it was awesome!
  • When I looked at all those shows from 2008, this and Bonnaroo were the only ones I downloaded. Great shows!

I was at Bonnaroo, but not Colombia.

  • I only attended the second MSG show, but going strictly by the bootlegs, I think Hartford was the best 2008 show by far....

I agree. I was there, and thought it was an amazing show. Great energy, diverse setlist, cool crowd, and the third encore with the lights on and the show assumed over topped it all off!

good show - great crowd - if 10 club hadnt given my tickets away to someone else i would have been in a more festive mood - especially since i was taking my daughter to her first pj show for her birthday, we had to buy more tickets outside but the whole thing was a a bitter mess...never got refunded, just got basically called a scammer and offered a bootleg cd - anyway hopefully someone enjoyed my senority and seats / the real problem wasnt 10 club but the center worker goons anyway.

This show is amazing!! First time I've heard it just now. One of the best 08 shows by the sounds of it. I love Eddie's intro speech going into Sad. :D

Was definitely my favorite of the 2008 tour that I saw (WPB, Tampa, Columbia, NYC 1 + 2). It was just "one of those nights". Most shows are special, but you expect shows in NYC, Philly and Boston to be special all the time, and it is a lot of fun to be at one of those shows like Columbia 2008, Champaign 2003 or Grand Rapids 2006 where this extra amazing night comes out of nowhere.

Just this past weekend a friend of mine admitted that this was his first and only PJ show and that he was not impressed :o. He said EV was too drunk and the setlist did not flow .

Blashphemy!! Any hard-core PJ fan cannot mock how ridiculous the set actually is.

Out of the eight shows I've attended, this one probably ranks as my favorite show of all time. I was afraid they might have blown their load on the 'Roo set from two nights before, but the boys had such intense energy that night and a few surprises thrown in there for good measure.
