Bootleg track arrangement

I'm so happy to be a fan of a band that puts out most of their shows on bootlegs, but I do question how they put the tracks on these recent ones. In other words, Eddie's talking is left on the end of a track, even though it would make more sense to put the chatter at the beginning of the next song (usually the talk pertains to the upcoming track, not the last one). So if you're listening on an Ipod and you have it shuffled, you get a bunch of talk leading into a song that isn't actually going to come on. I, for one, like hearing what Ed has to say b/c it's one of the things that makes shows unique. I just would prefer that the introductory chit chat is tagged on the front end of the song being introduced.
I can see the merit I guess, if you're always going to listen to the tracks in order straight through, of having it on the end (so you can skip if you want), but I'd still rather have the talk on the same track as the song being intro'd.
Agree or disagree?

Sometimes the chat is about the song they just played, so you would be screwed anyway.IN THE DARK, ALL CATS ARE BLACK.0

I hear what you are saying... and I sorta agree with you. BUT I can see why they did what they did. When you wanna hear a song you skip to track 8 and wanna hear that song... so BOOM. Song starts. Seems right to me. If you gotta do some Ipod djing to listen to some Ed... so be it.0

I personally love that they put it at the end of the previous track. If I don't want to listen to Eddie banter, I can skip right into the next song without having to fast forward. That's obviously why they do it.9/24/96, 6/14/98, 9/18/98, 8/3/00, 9/1/00, 9/4/00, 4/28/03, 7/5/03, 7/6/03, 7/12/03, 7/14/03, 9/28/04, 9/29/04, 10/1/04, 9/15/05, 9/16/05, 9/19/05, 9/30/05, 10/03/05, 5/13/06, 5/27/06, 5/28/06, 6/1/06, 6/3/06, 6/19/08, 6/20/08, 6/24/08, 6/25/08, 8/7/08 (Eddie solo)0

Isn't this the way tracks on most live albums are separated?
My thinking was, if you put the album on and want to hear a few songs (I know, a ridiculous notion, but some people do this), you could select Track 2, for instance, and go right into "Corduroy."0 -
End of the previous track so you don't have to listen to that stuff every time.
I think that's pretty well the standard for all band and has been for all of PJ's boots, as well.0
