Question on Bootleg vs. Download Quality 2008

I got the downloads last year for Mansfield 1 and 2 for the 2008 tour. The quality is good, but I got cd's this time around and they're REALLY good. Is the difference the cd vs. download thing, or is it the 2009 recordings are better than 2008? Please help, I'm toying with the idea of buying the 2008 cd's. Thanks.

    the difference of cd and download is for sure one thing..i see that the quality is good in 2008 and 2009

    Pretty much everyone says that the 208 boots had the worst sound yet and that the 2009 ones are an improvement. So you could also hear the difference in mixing/mastering and not only the loss in quality from WAV to mp3. (if tou downloaded FLAC-versions than there is no difference due to compression etc and has to be the recording/mixing/mastering and energy of the show :) )
