    if you people knew anything about what it's like to be high rollin you would understand that high rollers use these orange vinyls to play frisbee golf with. they also roll blunts with hundred dollar bills even though it tastes nasty. and last but certainly not least....much like dave chapelle, they sprinkle diamonds on everything they eat to make their dookie twankle.
    if you think what I believe is stupid, bizarre, ridiculous or outrageous.....it's ok, I think I had a brain tumor when I wrote that.

    My friend told me that each US indie store got 1 and there were only 400 pressed, thats a rare item, I'd be surprised if many of those got to the store shelves, most likely they were snapped up by record store people

    Simply after the tour, sell them on 10Club...make like 10,000 of them.

    I was at my indie store literally a few hours before they gave one away there via Twitter. I asked if they had Backspacer in yet, and they said they have it but aren't shelving it yet. The chick gave me a pj sticker for free which was nice of her, but a tip off about the orange vinyl would of been nicer. :)

    It's because of people willing to spend so much for Pearl Jam items, sellers see dollar signs and snag everythhing they can... I imagine the Philly T-Shirts are going to go as fast as the L.A. shirts, leaving many fans out in the cold.

    I agree - they do this, and it almost increases the problem (alright I'm probably saying that with a bit of selfishness...) but the t-shirt situation in Philly is going to be...you know...a FUCKING DISASTER....all because of people trying to flip them. If they would just release a statement saying they are printing more orange vinyl for sale, that's all it would take.

    If they would fucking make them available OUTSIDE the US it would keep the price from going that high too.

    I get the tweets saying free orange vinyl and they are ALL in US stores. :(

    Do you really need it that badly? It's not even a cool-looking item. It's just an orange record. There is nothing special about it whatsoever aside from the fact that there are apparently only a couple of hundred of them out there.
