Check out this beauty my wife and I swindled from the Target people. It's big, bold, beautiful, and free (that's what she said.)

    How did you make it happen. There is a Target near me with one hanging and the display is gone.

    I'd love to try and get it..... any advice would be helpful.

    Hey!! I know that girl!!! Love the poster. Did you have to wait 2 hours for the store to open to get that one like we did @ Keyarena? ;) Just noticed this was post # 400 for me. What a nice coincidence.

    from what I know of these things, you inquire with the manager, and if no one has requested it already, they just might hold it for you when they are done with it.

    We asked Lola. She works there. Didn't know Lola prior to this exchange, but if I have another child, I'm gonna name him Lola. Sup Morgie!!!!!

    Looks great. I was at Target yesterday and inquired about the poster. The manager said they usually just toss the promotional stuff when they are done. He took down my name and phone number and promised they'd call me when they took it down... and I could have it. So I gots dibs on the poster at Target in Richfield, MN!!

    I'm going to my local Target in the morning, because tomorrow morning is when they go in the trash, so if you are willing to be at your local target at about 8 or 9 your local time, you might get them. I know I'm going tomorrow to get my local Target's promotion stuff.

    Swindle is probably the wrong word to use. It was quite easy. My wife just asked and they said it was no problem. Very nice. It is about 5 feet by 5 feet.

    I tried to get the same one at my local target. Said they couldnt...By contract they were told at the end of the promotional period that it HAD to be destroyed. I tried for about an hour to try and make it happend and in fact went back the next day and talke to someone else and got the same response. They were not going to let it go! :-(
