just tore it open and am listening to it now!!

SO SWEET!!!!
it is a heavy record!!

SO EXCITED!!!!

got it at a record shop, reserved a copy when i found out it was coming out.

    wow, you mean ACTUALLY going to a record store and checking with someone IN PERSON? you are a smart individual. now if only half the whiners tried this. ha, sorry, i know many don't have local access to vinyl shops.

    drove about an hr each way and i called them when i heard it was coming out on vinyl and ask them to reserve a copy for me on the off chance they got some.

    they only got a small amount maybe 5-8 and the guy who checked me out said he got a copy for himself. i asked if they were putting the rest out and he said no, that the few copies they got were all accounted for.


    ON TO SIDE TWO!!!

    HOLY SHIT HARD SUN IS THE FIRST SONG ON SIDE TWO AND IT SOUNDS INCREADABLE!!!
    TOTALLY DIFFERENT THAN ON MY IPOD!!!!

    they can release copies before the official date? hmmm, i didn't think that was allowed. I mean that isn't a presale its in store.

    So are you keeping your 10C copy sealed?

    Anyone got any more updates on the LP's shipping by 10C, I got the email with the tracking number, but it doesn't have any more information.

    heres how it happend. when i heard it was coming out on vinyl i called a record shop and asked that if they got one in to reserve it for me. they were not even sure if they were getting any. so i tried my luck with 10c and i got one. then i got a call yesterday from the record shop that they had a copy for me. it was more than $20. so i do have two copies. however, i opened the first one and the second one i am giving to my GF. just thought it was a smart move, i had a felling these things were going to go fast, some folks on this board thought they would be around for days, if you remember any of those posts. i just had a feeling they would be gone in the matter of mins. got lucky this time around, got shut out of the vix tix tho, so it is all ebb and flow in my eyes.

    I have 2 copies of a few of my LP's one that I play and the other ones I have framed.

    Have you had any updates on your shipment from 10C?

    and i did it on the cool. so i don't really care if anyone is pissed that i have two. hey won't be flipped. they are too cool. my kid can flip um when i'm dead.

    i used to have a local record store that would let you take a release home on the friday,when it shouldnt of been on sale till the monday morning.
    It shut down not long after HMV came to town.
    Pleased it sounds great!

    by the way no one has told me if they heard end of the road?
    it is on side two. i thought maybe it was on the 10c cd special edition...
