U2 fans - does Eddie drink more than Bono?!?!?

just thinking about stereotypes (I'm Irish and lets just say we enjoy a drink or two)....we know eddie is swigging from a bottle onstage - and he's NOT Irish

i have no interest in U2, but since Bono is the most famous Irish rock star ever, i have a question for U2 fans-

what are his drinking habits?

does he perform drunk?

does he swing from a bottle onstage?

does he drink at all?

    ive never seen him drink onstage, he says in interviews that he likes to kick back with a beer or two every now and then. I think Clayton was a full blown alcoholic earlier in their career, but is now clean.

    I think this guy has been known to have a drink onstage though:

    Bono reserves all of his consumption for offstage exclusively. And he could probably drink Vedder under the table without even trying.

    Only time in the 24 U2 shows I've seen alcohol on stage was on Larry's 40th birthday when they brought out a cake and bottle of champagne after "Party Girl".

    I remember the lot of them (members of PJ and U2 including Bono and Ed) stayed up late drinking the night before a Pearl Jam show in Toronto (Ed mentioned it - this was the show where Bono came out and sang with them - I think it was 06?) and Ed mentioned something about being hungover.

    I think Bono would be a messy drunk, it's just the impression I gte from him. Takes one to know one I guess.
