    I never thought of it that way, but I am flattered when people associate me with that band... I almost feel like they are family to me. I know that sounds sick, but I personally don't know what I would do with out them. They inspire me, and make me such a better person. I feel bad that other people don't have this passion...it is amazing. We are lucky we live it.

    When you Google Pearl Jam News and sort by date to see the LATEST article updates....and you do it more than once a day :lol:

    ....it's actually stressful to listen to PJ with someone who may not be as big a fan as you...You want to keep checking to make sure they are appreciating them as much as they should.

    - When you’re on a first date with a guy and the lead question is ‘Are you into PJ?’ Followed by ‘do you have a favorite album?’ His response is ‘I liked Ten.’ This being the only album he can name and none of the songs on it, sorry this just won’t work out. My response (in my head) ‘Can we not even be friends?’

    - When you are an aunt for the first time and you buy your new niece and nephew PJ baby gear to start them out right. And even playing PJ to them in the womb so they would come out with great musical taste. Also when their parents were decorating the baby’s room and wanted input, I said I have a nice looking PJ poster that would work above the crib. (That one got nixed but I’m hoping my future husband is ok with that one in our kids room someday).

    - When the first thing you think about when buying a new car is how your PJ decals are going to look with it. Forget the safety features. :)

    - When a friend tells you that your name (Megan) means pearl in Greek it makes you really happy and proud of your parents because they knew from the beginning how much of a fan you would be 25 years later.

    - When you get emails/text messages from multiple friends you don’t really keep in touch with very well and all they have to say is I heard PJ on the radio and I thought of you.
    The only things permanent in my life are my tattoo and Pearl Jam.

    when you wake up sunday morning (oct. 4 ACL) and get on the forum and beg for an extra ticket. find it and drive by yourself to austin just to see PJ and drive home same night. boy, that was a long f'n day but worth every hr and min.

    i even flew to montreal by meself to see them also. i'm either a fanatic or a loser? :D

    Since I have first listened to Backspacer, whenever I wake up during the night I have a different song playing in my head. I am not even listening to the album that much (1-2 times a day tops :))
