Yeah, if I get shitfaced (which rarely happens anymore), I am worthless for like 2 days... a friday night out ruins my whole weekend.

And along the lines of your geeky ones, you know that you are old when you remember using Lotus for spreadsheets :)

Wanna feel older than me? I was in elementary and jr. high using wordperfect...Word came along before I needed to use any type of spreadsheet program.... I started on computers early...which explains my current profession.

I feel older... in elementary school, I was busy playing oregon trail on one of our 2 Apple IIe's that the entire school had :)

And I remember notching out 5 1/4 floppy discs to make them double-sided :)

Or when players you see a "grizzled veteren" playing and you realize that he is younger than you :)

damn..i guess the ;) does not signify humor enough. you're like the 3rd person today to think i was possible offended by their words, when my response contained a ;)!.....just throwing the jest right back atcha is all! and yes, yes, i know.....thanks for the reminder ;););) ....i may be oldER, but the memory is still intact. so far. well, overall....

No, I didn't think anything bad! You and I are going back and forth with that today huh? ;)

It's so hard to read tone.

    we're gettin' old...hence, being misunderstood....;)
honestly, i feel pretty damn *young* most of the time. sure, i am aware of changes, i am not delusional ;)....it's only when i am around a lot of young people (and i do love hangin' with people of all ages) that i realize and think...damn, i'm gettin' old! mostly due to obvious generational differences, tho still can have lots in common...but sure, when i look at all the new associates in my firm, new crop each fall, it's like whoa...they're babies!

you went to the Reading Festival when it was one stage and the headliners were Yes and Wishbone Ash.

your 22 year old daughter who you still think of as a baby moves to a town 2 hours away.

i consider that wisdom, not old ;)

honestly, it's a very recent phenomena....so i could choose to attribute it to age, or to finally have work with regular hours, or trying to get a bit ealier and dare to exercise.... but even so, i attribute it to age, b/c in my younger years, while i would know it to be the 'smart' thing to do, i still would not choose it. ;)

but sure, really...there's the wisdom of age: experience.
