In many cases, the photogs keep shooting until the promoter or band rep come and remind them to leave....reminds me of the umpire having to walk out to the mound to end a meeting.
and for those stubborn photogs, a nice used towel covered in Ed's sweat tossed right at their heads

Ross Halfin is a funny guy, and not one to mince his words; and like someone else said, he will happily slag off even bands he is friends with if their people make his job difficult. At the end of the day, he's there to do a specific job - and the quality of his work is reflected in the publications which essentially advertise these bands - thus it is in everyone's interest to make his job as easy as possible.0

It was halfins photo of Ed that graced the cover of Rolling Stone hatchet job on Ed in '96. It's my understanding that he is persona non grata ever since. Rightly so too 'cos he's a moaning self righteous little shit.0

I believe from other comments made in this thread that Mr. Halfin is British. The word you are offended by does not have the extremely negative connotations in England that it has here. It can be used to describe both males and females, and he appears to be speaking about all the PR people. So relax!0 -
I'm sure Ross Halfin can be a primadonna photographer. If you don't know who he is you haven't looked at many pics of rock and roll band.
Sounds kinda like PJ ca be kinda difficult to photograph, too.
They're probably all kinda spoiled assholes when it comes to the business side.0 -

no, it's not the same exactly, but it's still a pretty negative term, any way you slice it.Gimli 1993
