Will the band be too busy to do a fan club christmas single this year? Also, I've been a long time fan but just joined the club. I've finally given in and ponied up the cash. I was wondering, the back-dated christmas singles that are for sale on this website, are they on vinyl only? I'd like to get some of these songs on cd. Anyone ever heard if PJ will eventually release all these songs on cd? I know "Let me sleep" appeared on Lost Dogs. I don't have a record player, and although owning a collector's item would be a treat, my main desire is too listen to them. Thanks in advance.

To date, they have only ever missed one year's Christmas single. That was 1994. We may not get it until Easter 2010, but yeah, I am sure there will be a 2009 Christmas single.
Yes, all the past Christmas singles sold here are all on vinyl. As singles, they have never been available in any other format.
That said, people have ripped them into MP3 and they are online somewhere to download. Someone else can provide a link to them. I don't have it.
It always irks me when some bands do this. They keep a treasure trove of unreleased material, or they put it in a "difficult" format. I would love to purchase aforementioned songs legally, and listen to them on my ipod, or at least in my car on the way too work. Since apparently that isn't feasible, I hope someone will steer me in the right direction.
