    Gammons is a HUGE music fan, always used to quote songs and allude to bands in his Sunday notes column in the Boston Globe, he hosts a rock concert every winter for charity (Hot Stove, Cool Music) ... and he can rock ...

    they were the official band of monday night football tonight, i think.
    pretty sure i heard the fixer going into every other commercial break or time out

    Its unbelievable to me that some of you think ESPN is playing backspacer tracks because they "like them."

    Pearl Jam paid for a service. It has nothing to do with if they like the music or not.

    Its no different then buying air time for commercials.


    Just an unbiased opinion

    The first MNF game played the intro to Gonna See My Friend at least once.......and tons of the Fixer....

    A lot of these guys have shown to be Pearl Jam fans in the past, and they're doing more than just playing them. I didn't even mention that they played a song, I was talking about what they were saying about Pearl Jam.

    You are right though.... it's part of the marketing campaign, but a good way to reach that young male demographic that every is after.

    unbiased? unbiased would mean you sat there with your keys shut. what you did was have a biased opinion. but...uh nice try. and i do know exactly what you are talking about.
