Went to Target in North Attleboro MA today to pick up the CD and the clerk said that they never recieved their shipment. If your the only store selling the CD wouldn't you make sure all your stores get the cd on time.

Yeah, I am pretty amazed by when I've been hearing. Although I'll also say that the average Target clerk may just not be well-informed The box could still always be in the back. My guess is that they will get their shit together in a week or so, there will be a second single and another publicity push, but I'd also guess that PJ will never go through Target again. They have not been on the ball, it would seem.

Perhaps it was a bad idea to partner up with one corporate giant after all.

My guess is if it was U2 or Springsteen, this wouldn't have happened.

    I’m hearing some bad things.
If I were PJ I’d want to hear about this.

My target(va beach) had no shirts. But I had expected that from the shirt list. Not every store would have them.

I was expecting some kind of banner or poster advertising ‘Pearl Jam at Target’. All I saw in the entire store was this sign about the size of a piece of paper with a pic of the cd cover out on September 20 over the new releases shelf. I mean that’s it, I was shocked! With the Prince release there was crap all over the place.
THEN the Backspacer was nowhere to be found. I got there late in the day but still it couldn’t have sold out that fast.
I thought gezz they didn’t order enough.
I wasn’t leaving until I spoke to a staff. (give me my PJ god damnit! Lol!)
The guy said he had to get it from the back. And he asked if that’s all I wanted. (I guess for Rock Band or whatever)
I told him there was none on the shelf. He relied with something. I forgot the word he used but I’ve never heard it before. Merchandise jarkin.

I got the album but damn that was weird.

And I saw plenty of the commercial on TV last night, then I go to actually buy the thing and there was notta.

    PJ got a bad deal.

They're probably all confused because of the Sunday release. I'M NOT DEFENDING THEM. They still should have fucking paid attention.

Not sure who's fault it is though. Is it really Target's fault that they didn't receive shipment in so many locations? I've heard that there was not a huge promotional display in many stores. Why? I'm just thinking that pointing the finger in one general direction for the snafu today in so many places is not really fair.

Our Target did have two huge displays and hundreds of cd's out. Quite a few vinyl and the shirts. Of course this is Washington. ;)
