Wow, thanks for the info, I was going to drive out there this morning, glad I didn't. I see on here the shirts run small, even the XL. Looks like Target is really dropping the ball on this charity thing, PJ are going to be pissed.

From the looks of all the other threads here about lack of merch @ various Targets, I'd say this new partnership is off to a spotty start at best.

Went there this morning at f@cking 8am and nothing. NO CLUE. Even though there giant sign says it. They say they'll call me but well see. I went to the one on Rt. 7 and they don't have cd's displayed but they do have them. I had to persuade the guy to let me get one. WTF. They said they aren't putting them out till Tues. I want my F N shirt!

Aren't the shirts limited anyway? Donating $5/shirt helps pick the ball back up.
As far as album availability...... ANY album released on a sunday is gonna get the same treatment.
Went to the Lewisville, TX store on 121 this morning a few minutes after 8am. No sign of the CD anywhere. I ask a nearby employee if they have the new Pearl Jam album specifically the Rock Band edition, "You are looking for a rock band program?" "No, Pearl..Jam." ....she looks in her little computer but says it's not working so she finds another employee who tells me "that's the album that comes out Tuesday." "No it comes out today just like your sign right there says." So he looks it up in their computer and says they have 163 of them in the back. (great, why aren't they out). I tell him i'm looking for the Rock Band edition that's $30...says he knows nothing about that. Goodbye.

OK, so you are a Target apologist?

Man that sucks! I thought about that today as I walked into Target. (what if they don't have it for some reason!) But they did:) No shirts though; I'll have to go to Newport News for that.
For Falls Church folks...I bought my cd at the Potomac Yard store in Alexandria this morning. It wasn't out on the shelves and I had to ask two separate employees to go in the back and search for the box. So perhaps the CD's are in the back of the store and still sealed in their storage box because the employees have no clue. If not, you can definitely find them at the Potomac Yard store.
I wasn't able to find the t-shirt, but at that point was too annoyed to ask them to go in the back of the store and look again.
I'm all about waiting till the day the CD is released (I like the excitement of going to the store to buy it), but think next time I will be buying it straight from 10 Club.
My local independent record store had the CD. They were even hooked up with the hardcover edition, which I don't think is sold at target. Only ordered the vinyl from 10club, so psyched to get a copy of this edition. Great album!!

but just think of all these teenage target employees that are getting rushed with people asking for Pearl Jam. its like pounding the name into their heads. I bet they know who they are after this week.
Northern VA. Target..the only one listed w/ a shirt within miles..I asked the associate, he knew EXACTLY what I was talking about..said he had a "small mob" look for them early in the morning- They didn't get the shirts in yet, he had checked the entire back stockroom..He expects them in Monday/Tuesday. He said people wanted to leave them their name and # and have him call them when they come in!! REally people?!?!? Has it come to that?!?! Some guy drove an hour and a half just to be shut out..I don't know, I'm thinking if I had to drive that far I would've called first!!
Hey, at least this Target guy knew what I was talking about-
For my NoVA peeps--buy it online at the link above.
hey dude- You in NOVA too?? good shit..You going to Philly? I'm hitting 30th and 31st.. We should get a NOVA crew for tailgating/overall PJ merriment..
you would have thought someone would have educated the Target employees on what they have and what is included..............the target here in Indy was vacant except for the standard cd.......pretty piss poor if you ask me.......granted, it isnt located in a "middle-class" area, however he knew nothing of the t-shirts, vinyl, or the rock-band deal.......
who dropped the ball?
oh, the new album kicks ass.

I’m hearing some bad things.
If I were PJ I’d want to hear about this.
My target(va beach) had no shirts. But I had expected that from the shirt list. Not every store would have them.
I was expecting some kind of banner or poster advertising ‘Pearl Jam at Target’. All I saw in the entire store was this sign about the size of a piece of paper with a pic of the cd cover out on September 20 over the new releases shelf. I mean that’s it, I was shocked! With the Prince release there was crap all over the place.
THEN the Backspacer was nowhere to be found. I got there late in the day but still it couldn’t have sold out that fast.
I thought gezz they didn’t order enough.
I wasn’t leaving until I spoke to a staff. (give me my PJ god damnit! Lol!)
The guy said he had to get it from the back. And he asked if that’s all I wanted. (I guess for Rock Band or whatever)
I told him there was none on the shelf. He relied with something. I forgot the word he used but I’ve never heard it before. Merchandise jarkin.
I got the album but damn that was weird.
And I saw plenty of the commercial on TV last night, then I go to actually buy the thing and there was notta.
PJ got a bad deal.
