Ten Club version should include at least what Target gets!

The Ten Club version of Backspacer should include at least what Target & iTunes get. We who were foolish enough to preorder our inferior version should be given access to the free downloads in some way.

I'm truly hoping that this is just some kind of oversight and it will be fixed soon.

    yeah that makes no sense at all. I don't know why the all Backspacer discs aren't the same.

    in the most recent 10C email it was stated that this would be happening soon enough and from the sounds of it, more than 2 shows.

    there's also another thread that provides the exact verbiage, but first go back and look at your email.

    If you read the latest 10c email you would have seen that the dl will be included eventually. They are probably waiting because there will be more shows available for 10c purchases. A little patience goes along way...

    I'm not sure it matters I bought a Target version today after going to 3 diffrent stores and there is no code or instructions on how to download anything. Thats the only reason I bought from target i generally don't support them

    I don't tend to agree with the "I'm in the Ten Club and I deserve ____________" posts that come up here frequently, but this feels really wrong to me. The worst part is that the TC version transfers you to the Bootlegs page where I can pay $9.99 for a concert. Lucky me! I feel that they are rubbing my face in the fact that the concerts have value and, esentially, buying the Target version gets you Backspacer (11.99) plus two bootlegs (9.99 each). I'd love to hear how people feel about this. Maybe I'm way off base.

    Sorry for the doubt Ten Club. You guys do an awesome job. Probably why my conspiracy theory bugged me so much- it was out of character for Ten Club to bone us. The album is incredible. I'm gonna go listen to it and eat some crow. :oops:

    i'd rather pre-order and know my money isn't going to target...right?

    and i haven't received my preorder yet, which is not a big deal at all, but from what i understand the 10C version is "hardcover" where the target version is just cardboard.

    anyway, i'm sure something big is in store for 10C members in regards to the live downloads. we all just need to exercise a little patience here, i think.

    Whats wrong with your money going to Target? I shop at Target all the time...

    Don't get too worked up about it. They are only 128 Kbps and don't include any cover songs. What we likely have already is better than what they are providing through this "vault". For example, the Philly 2005 show is missing 9 songs because of all the covers they did at that one.

    After doing research, and reading things like this, I'm returning my copy (unopened) I purchased today to Target.
    I grabbed the 'indie' store version, and may end up returning that as well.

    i shop at target all the time too, but i figure with the presale my money is going to the fan club.

    Not sure if mentioned, but if you click on each picure on the front page that comes up on your pc all the items mentioned were listed there but a couple said something like the link will be available shortly. We were probably given more and just haven't found it yet.

    I pre ordered the iTunes download and I am still waiting to hear or get instructions about the 2 free concert downloads. Did anyone else get them?
