i picked up the indie store vinyl today. die cut cover and large booklet. They guy said it was way "cooler" than the target edition. Went to two targets and they had no vinyl but the ad in the paper today said that they would be selling it today?

    $19.99 @ target, $19.98 @ 10C and $24.99 at the indie store.

Im getting the feeling that they are all the same and I spent $5 extra for what? The guy told me last week that the vinyl would be orange and the packaging would be "way cooler" than the target version. That doent seem to be the case.

Either way, it sounds wonderful on vinyl. I am on Just Breathe right now.

  • I picked one up at Target this morning. They didn't have anything out at opening. Talked to the nice guy in electronics and he apologized. They normally don't release new stuff on Sunday, and he hadn't had time to get it out yet, so he went in back and brought out box full of them.

Sounds just like the independent record store version. Die-cut cover with a square hole for the brain picture (which is on the record sleeve inside).

I don't have mine from 10c yet but my copy from Easy Street is different from the Target one. Easy Street is a book while the Target has the book separate. The Target here did have the vinyl. :)

that's what I thought. My thought is that the distributor gave the indie stores the reg vinyl and the target stores didn't get anything yet, at least here in Denver. I'll give em a call Monday.

Can you post some pics of the easy street please?

For the vinyl?? My "indie store" version was just the standard gatefold with the vinyl in the front and the booklet in the rear.

Yeah my indie store vinyl is a gatefold that has a separate booklet, the album is not a book.

That's the exact same version I bought at Target today. I'm pretty sure they're all the same. I guess we'll know 100% for sure when people get the 10C version in the mail, but I'd bet it's the same as well.
