    Happy record release day to all. These things only happen once every couple years if we are lucky, so cherish these next few weeks while we still have what is relatively new music to listen to. I've got a feeling that this record won't be leaving my cd player/ipod/etc. anytime soon.

    Yes, happy release day everyone and happy travels to the Emerald City! Cannot wait for tomorrow night! The CD is freakin awesome, by the way. I'll throw this opinion out there; the first 6 tracks may be the best sequence they've ever put out.

    Such a good day. We get new PJ albums rather far and far between these days (Although certainly more frequent than some other bands). I love the period of time where-in a new album feels like something *new* and *different* and *separate* form the rest of the PJ catalog. After some months and a lot of listening, it sort of fades back and joins the ranks and feel more like it's a part of a whole. For now, though, I listen to the record and it feels like I found buried treasure.

    I really like Avocado a lot (it's somewhere mid-pack for me in my PJ album reckoning) but there wasn't a sinlge song on there that I ever thought would ever crack my top songs list. Backspacer has me thinking that at least one or two are going to make it, and this has me feeling pretty good.

    ah yes...sunday was an excellent day to release this record; nothing to do but hang around the house with my cd player on repeat. happy pearl jam day everybody!!!
