Cigarette Song #1 and #2

Early on in the Backspacer Stages we all heard of the songs that were being written - and cigarette 1 & 2 were there - I am wodering if Just Breathe and The End are Cig 1 & 2 - PLEASE YOUR THOUGHTS - CIGS MAKE YOU NOT BREATHE "Just Breathe" AND END YOUR LIFE "the End" = anyone thinking the same?

    probably. they were probably just two random songs that didnt have names yet. but those two songs are a bit similar (compared to the rest of the album).

    I'm thinking those song lists were just bogus. That's what I'm thinking.

    Yeah that's a pretty good thought. I don't know about all the "Cigs don't make ya breathe and end your life" stuff but since they're both acoustic ballads, I could see a part 1/part 2 idea being employed early on by the band.

    i think that i've heard the song title "cigarette war" for the last 2 or 3 cd's and it neverends up on the cd
