Backspacer + free tribute band tickets

So, I picked up Backspacer today at a local indie record store in New Jersey and I was given two free tickets to see a PJ tribute band (with an AIC tribute) and I told the record store cashier that "I won't be needing those tickets." We both laughed and then the guy told me he couldn't get rid of these free tickets and he showed me the huge stack of tickets he had! Then the other guy behind the counter said he was just slipping them into peoples bags just to get rid of them! A PJ tribute band! Ha! C'mon people.....

    some dude on here a day or two ago said he dropped off a bunch of tickets to a record store for PJ tribute band. i think it was NJ.

    yup, i'm in a pj tribute band, so shoot me. why not though? love the band, learned to play these tunes years ago, and now i get to do it every once in a while for a bunch of people who also love the band. im having fun, no harm done, right? not your thing, no problem...just having some fun!

    :D no worries, it's all good. as a huge fan of the band, i was the biggest skeptic of PJ tribute bands....so for more of my own sake...I joined one and recreate Stone's parts better than anyone. I will stand by that remark. I've met with Stone about playing certain riffs to make sure I was doing it right. We do "You Are" and we try and keep it real without being cheesy.

    Thanks for the well wishes....and good to see the store didn't chuck those tix out haha!

    no harm meant from me either. i just found it funny that someone on here picked up tickets to your show and reclalled you (i guess now) dropping off the tickets.

    i can vouch for this. i have seen no code 5-6 times in the past 3 years and always have a fun and am so impressed by the musicianship of all the band members. shame on you asshats for making fun of seth(guitarhero 27) for actually promoting his cover band and trying to get noticed more and giving people a live pj fix. I'd like to see any of you create a cover band and always put alota ass's in bars or clubs and pull off the recreation. these guys are probably the best pj cover band out there. not disrespecting other cover bands but facts are facts.
