I like it, but I think it's somewhere in the middle for me. I feel like it suffers from weird track placement. Doesn't feel like a 2nd to last song to me.

this is one of the few tracks on the album that has taken some time to grow on me but the more I hear it the more I'm falling in love with it. Last night it hit me when it came up just how amazing it really was!

  • It's my favorite as well. I love the lyrics, and it's probably one of my top 5 songs ever. It also seems like the song that Brendan O'Brien didn't mess with very much, which I like. Amongst the Waves, Johnny Guitar, and Unthought Known, are almost as amazing.

I also heard that. I love hearing all the PJ on espn... I also agree that this is the best song on the record!
  • I'm stunned. You actually all like it?!

To me, it is, by a big margin, the worst, song on any Pearl Jam album. I've been listening to it over & over to try to find something likable about it. But I can't - it's bland, overwrought and thoroughly pedestrian. It sounds like it could be a cast-off from the Top Gun soundtrack. It's the first time that I've ever felt - in 18 years of listening to this band - that they've made a song I really never want to hear again.

  • I'm surprised more people don't think its the best. To me its vintage PJ on a very un-PJ album.

I love this one and its my early fave for sure.
