Bootlegs are best since 2003.

Downloaded FLAC Chicago 1 and the bass/drums are fucking awesome. Whoever mixed these it was WELL worth the wait. They haven't sounded this good since 2003.

don't wait for your hard copy. go digital and download it. trust me, its worth it and i'm an audiophile and these FLAC files are amazing. everything sounds so well balanced. matt's drums really shine and you can hear that 'meaty' bass sound. all i can say is fucking wow!
Flac is highest download right? The CD will be as high as the flac?
Once either one is put to iTunes, we loose a bunch right?
I am serious. I'm not quite up to snuff on all this.
Thanks
Dave
I use a program for my mac called Xact and it converts FLAC to WAV which i then just drop into iTunes. WAV files are big meaning they aren't as compressed as an MP3.
FLAC is just a lossless audio format.
The CD is as high quality as you'd get, and FLAC files would have come from the same source as the CD
FLAC's are compressed WAV's - same quality as CD
For programs that don't support FLAC, you have to decompress them back into WAV's.
If you use NERO to burn CDR's, there is a great new FLAC plug-in that will rip them to CDR with no converting.

I have archived DVDs with backups of all of my shows on them in FLAC format (where applicable) as well in case something happens to my shows... I have a lot of these. I can fit a good amount of shows on 1 DVD in FLAC format.
Those archive DVDs are backed up on a very large HDD in case anything happens to my DVDs... and if something happens to my HDD, well I guess I'm fucked.
No luck, the mix is also great on this show though.
