I'm not putting myself up on a pedestal here, but I'm going to say this as respectfully as I can without sounding elitist. All this leak talk on the board should stop. It is disrespectful to the band you all claim to love so much. Yes, I understand that most of you are paying for it, probably multiple times in several formats, but that's neither here nor there.

Imagine if your parents bought you the best birthday gift in the world. Imagine that they were so excited for you to finally open it on the morning of your birthday. Imagine then, when you tell your sister, ARROGANTLY AND DISRESPECTFULLY, right in front of your parents, that you already looked for and found your present before your actual birthday, so when you opened it you ruined that experience for your parents. Yes, the gift was still going to be given to you, but you selfishly took it when it was not yet yours. Doesn't that sound like a spoiled brat, unappreciative thing to do?

I understand the excitement and anticipation of a new PJ record. I do. I'm a huge fan myself. If you feel the need to download it early, that is your decision. But it's another thing entirely to wave it in the face of all the people that work so hard to make it to the actual release date that THE BAND WANTED.

I'll quietly step down off my soapbox now. I have said my piece.

    its hardly disrespectful to rabidly seek out new PJ music whenever you can. Plus everyone is buying copies (mostly multiples) anyway. when you think about it logically, it makes absolutely no difference when you get it, as long as you pay for it. i doubt they are crying their eyes out right now because their ultra loyal fans got their fix a little early. they are probably interested in what people are saying about it. just my opinion.

    c'mon everyone who downloaded it today are going to buy it anyway (maybe ore than once). There isn't a big deal. The band probably just loves how much we want to hear the new record.

    People will talk about it on here no matter what. But I agree with your sentiment. And like a lot of people on here, I think people who download it early are just ruining the experience of getting the actual disk in the mail. Maybe they don't care, but I personally think it makes that experience completely meaningless. Call it old school, but I find it infinitely more exciting to put the actual disk in and let it spin. I remember before there were online leaks, and I found it so much more exciting.

    Whatever, the impatient people can have their leak. I'm not stooping there.

    Yeah well blame that on the majority people who dont know how to use the internet because of their age etc so they just ask for it and post away . This is why facebook was invented :P
