welcome, from what i gather there not going to be great unless you win the ticket lottery, as for codes and stuff you dont need any just buy the tickets0

i dont mind be a lil far or high up the only spot in the arena i dont want to be is back of the floor..me and my gf arent that tall and we had back of the floor at a tool show once and it was horrible0

The way it works is when a show is announced (via this website) there is an on sale date for ten club.
You login and attempt to buy ticets. Unfortunatly, you live in a very angry and crowded area where many 10C members live and complain about shows being sold out within minutes.
SO, when a show is announced and avaliable try to get tickets, it is a mad dash but is very rewarding once you get them. With 44X,XXX you will not be in the front but you will be in the show and that is what it is all about.
Regardless of how this board looks, the 10C members are nice and will usually look out for one another.
Remember, Philly, Boston, and NYC are very hard to get tickets. If you can travel to see a show, your seats will be better and you will have an easier time getting tickets (for the most part).0 -
thanks for the response yeah thats what i figured..ive only been to 3 pj shows first one i barely got tix at continental but they were good enough like u said its about being there..then the others were the last 2 msg shows which couldnt get anything on ticketmaster at all wound up paying like 700 in total to get 2 tix for each show
and with the lottery is everyone automatically entered in that..and do you know if you won that before the show or you find out thta day wen you get your tix like you normally would find out0 -

tool show and horrible should never be used in the same sentence, if you're in the building then count yourself lucky :P“May you live to be 100 and may the last voice you hear be mine.” - Frank Sinatra0 -

welcome to the club!! i agree with what was said earlier..you'll get better tickets if you travel. but there are also a lot of people on here that have extra 10C seats, so always keep your eyes on the board for those.I LOVE MUSIC.

welcome!
you do not know you seat assignments until you pick up your tickets the day of the show...the lottery is for rows 1&2 and 9&10
fyi, with your number, do not expect great seats but just being in the building is the most important part

10C ticket History (a short history)
In the 90's 10C would let you get tickets to one show via a mail in process and seats were based on senority
In the 00's that went digital and we were allowed to get tickets to all shows with seats based on senority
Around 2005 the lottery was introduced which meant that all members were entered into a lottery for rows 1&2 and 9&10. This was some what controversial for people how have good numbers but in the grand plan... not a big deal. It gives folks with high numbers a chance to be spit on (by eddie not other 10C members)
This is usually the way things are done except for ulta small shows like the Vic in 07 and the LA shows this year or Festival shows (Bonnaroo, ACL, Lolla, etc.)
Helpful hints... keep your membership up to date, become obssessed with this board, keep some money set aside for pottental shows, and warn your girlfriend now that you will spend a lot of money on this silliness. If she is cool with that marry her!0 -
lol i think my g.f might be more obsessed with pearl jam then me even though i brought her into this world of pearl jam greatness..but we both love them so it all works out on that front0

Actually the lottery for rows 1&2, 9%10 didn't start until 2008. I've been buying tickets since 2003 and 2008 was the first time it happened. Pretty cool actually - we won it once last year (me and my daughter) and enjoyed Mansfield from 2nd row. Ed threw me a pick but I couldn't find it and some other guy came down the row and grabbed it, but there was a happy ending because I found a used one on the floor before one of Ed's solo shows 2 months later which I was obviously meant to have!
In 03 and 05 we were at the back of the floor for some show, (but have slowly moved up) but the good thing about 10C tickets is at least you have tickets. Shows can sell out pretty quickly.R.i.p. Rigoberto Alpizar.
