I like the part on Evenflow when the crowd all shout 'whoo - yeahhhhh' in unison. And how loud we all were on the boot when it came to singing along for Corduroy and Given to Fly!
    :D Rock on!!!! :D
Seen Pearl Jam 4 times in London, once in Manchester, as well as an Eddie show at Hammersmith.

Something was just mentioned on Xfm about them playing half an hour from the show this week. They didn't seem sure when, but I think they said it might be 8:30pm tomorrow, which would be very odd given this is the first I've heard of it - there's nothing on their website and they've not mentioned it properly on air.

I can't imagine how they would do it. Playing an illegal copy wouldn't be cricket and I doubt they would have anything original, otherwise there would have been some mention of it here. Mind you, if it happens, please let us know.

It would be official. I think the phrase used was something like "Pearl Jam's people have let us have some of the show to play you". And a lot of the seats in the VIP section were reserved for Xfm so there was obviously some kind of connection going on. I'll see if I can find an email address for Steve Harris who does the evening show and see if he can give any more info.

Wow, now I'm excited. That was a great night. Looking forward to some info, as I think the boot is good but a proper recording would be even better.

    Steve Harris emailed me back:
hi we will be playing half an hours worth of the gig out tonight between half 8 and 9

    cheers, steve

I can't believe they've not been promoting this at all. It'll be interesting to hear which songs they play.

If you're in the UK, but outside of the London or Manchester areas you should be able to listen online at http://www.xfm.co.uk/
  • Great - I will be tuning in for that.

they played The Fixer, Watchtower, Evenflow and Alive.

The mix was very very good... best I have heard. They faded the crowd in and out rather than have it a the same level throughout. I would have liked a little more crowd in the mix overall but in terms of a quality recording and mix of the band, it was amazing.
    Salut baloo

Well i guess it goes without saying but if Pearl Jam don't release this as a bootleg someone best leak this one.
