I found this at Total Guitar:
Using fellow musical collaborators can you link Pearl Jam guitarist Stone Gossard to the late great Johnny Cash in less than 10 steps?

Anyone can do it?

How about Stone Gossard played in PJ with Jack Irons. Irons was in RHCP, as was John Frusciante, who arranged Johnny Cash's version of Personal Jesus. Way less convoluted than their version.0

Stone Gossard plays in PJ with Eddie Vedder
Eddie Vedder has performed live with Tom Petty
Tom Petty has recorded with Johnny Cash"I'll tell you what: If all I had was Pearl Jam, and I didn't have another band in the world, I would not be worried. Because in there is the essence of making great music. You don't have to use it all at once, but it's there." - Neil Young0
