completely unscientific results of songs i've only heard snippets of but i dont care:

1 Just Breathe (best slow one in ages, maybe ever)
2 Gonna See My Friend (yes!)
3 Got Some
4 The End
5 Johnny Guitar (shocked but i dont hate this)
6 Unthought KNown


7 Amongst The Waves (still not feeling the love for this song)
8 Force of Nature
9 Supersonic (burp)
10 Fixer (fart)
11 Speed of SOund (didnt like Ed's vocals)

not perfect but its got good stuff!

    Of course this will probably all change once the album drops, but so far....And I can honestly say there isn't one that I don't like the sound of, something I couldn't say for their last three albums.

    Got Some- Tremendous
    The Fixer- Eh at first, but I think it is better sounding live (kind of like DTE on some nights)
    Amongst the Waves- So far so good, only heard a snippet.

    Just Breathe- Pretty song....sounds like it should be on an Ed Solo Record or was an Into the Wild outtake.

    man, people seem really down on the fixer. not that i think it's one of their best recent songs, but i like it a lot, and even moreso now that i've heard it live. i like got some, the fixer, and supersonic about the same so far, we'll see how they grow on me. i haven't heard the others but can't wait based on the comments i've seen here.

    All of them sound really good though. 30 sec. clips can be a bit inaccurate, however, in really showcasing how good a song is.

    If the remaining portions of the songs are as good as those clips, this album could be a favorite.

    Just checked out the Amazon UK preview.

    Im not that impressed... I know I know its not fair to judge a record by its sound clips but I have been hearing a lot of backspacer content and its not really making me proud, know what I mean? if it wasnt for Gonna See My Friend I would have been really disappointed.

    and more importantly judging the songs on them...i know we're all anxious to hear the album but ranking 30 seconds is a little silly...but to each his own :D

    and since i've only heard 2 songs i'll say that i like supersonic better than fixer
