what did you use to create this? I wanted to mess around with it.0

My guess is you can use any graphics editing program (Photoshop, Gimp or the likes), progressively darken the appropriate areas of the original artwork and the merge the single files into an animated .gif - simple, but nonetheless tedious to get it to look good.Ok wrote:what did you use to create this? Read the whole post dude - I said "simple" (as in - if you know how to do it - and especially what software to use, which then processes the whole stuff automatically - it's easy), yet tedious. I didn't mean to downplay the OP's effort in any way.imalive wrote:Kloddz wrote:My guess is you can use any graphics editing program (Photoshop, Gimp or the likes), progressively darken the appropriate areas of the original artwork and the merge the single files into an animated .gif - simple

P.S.: Would you mind showing me how to do that atom splitting thing? Sounds like a lot of fun Bern - September 13, 2006 Bern - September 13, 2006

If th ealbum art is oging to be glow in the dark I'd assume they'd add the stars to the "glow" in the space drummer image...or maybe you just didn't want to take the time to highlight all the stars...
Good work. I didn't know you could animate GIF's in photoshop...I might have to mess around with that.0

I know you didn't. I'm clueless on the whole animated gif thing. I always see avatars where I think "how in the fuck did they do THAT?" Lotta smart people around here. If I had known then what I know now... If I had known then what I know now...
