i really hope those little snippets in the background of the really raw drum and guitar sounds are actual songs. would be awesome to hear something like that on record

Some of that guitar sounds like Ed noodling Forever Young to my ear...
Listening to Just Breathe left me wondering. Is there some technical term for that thing he's doing with this voice when he sings that song?? Sort of forces it to crack...noticed he does it a lot lately...not sure if I like it or not, but was wondering what he's trying to do there.

Pretty sure there is nothing technical about it. It's my thought that this is more of a stylistic choice maybe to emote a certain feeling, say vulnerability.
Seconded. Just Breathe is going to be an amazing song. I was blown away but just that one verse. And Jeff looked a little choked up when saying how proud he was to be able to provide a backdrop for lyrics like that.
This record is going to be incredible. I still don't really like The Fixer, but everything else I have heard from it more than compensates for any reservations I may have had.

Yeah, I feel this could be a great album.
I too am not a big fan of The Fixer or Got Some for that matter.
Oh well.
Just Breathe sounds incredible, and I can't wait to hear the final and full song.

Thank you so much Crazy Marcus for uploading it to youtube!!
Amazing video, I hope they release a longer dvd after the tour!

I absolutely LOVE this song, but was wondering about that voice thing too. Not 100% sure about that.

This video is great. What I don't understand is why didn't Ten Club publicize the shit out of this (i.e. send out an e-mail with a link or post it on the homepage). Instead it is buried on MySpace.
