Whatever #1 fan. No need to get your panties in a knot.

Extra info is great. It just kinda read "Know it all, douchie". And the fact of the matter is that it's Stone's music. Ed and Chris have both recorded amazing songs out of the same music. Let's just enjoy.

P.S. I don't need anymore private messages from you calling me a cocksucker. It's also very douchie.

First I'd ask" How you all doing today"

than I'd ask what is their favorite aspect about performing

then I'd ask why do Stone and Jeff not do songs together any more

then I'd ask, would you like anything to drink

then I'd ask, do you ever get tired of the tenclub fans bitching and moaning about everything

  • I would ask them if they feel pressure when they hear about their fanbase questioning their decision making process as of late and if they feel that it is realistic to be held by said fanbase to ideas and ideals that came to light in the band's earliest years...

Pearl Jam has touched so many people for almost 20 years and has been the soundtrack to many peoples lives. How does that make you feel as humans to have touched so many people with your music?

Then I'd be told it would be impossible to put that into words by each of them and would have wasted my question.

They do have a chef, haven't you read Summer/Fall '06 under "Recipes for Life", all about their tour chef, Frenchie? He helps them keep healthy throughout the tour and cooks healthy, organic type meals for them. One thing I like about PJ is they look after themselves. Not like so many other dropkick bands around who spend so much of their time pissed and stoned.

I would ask the guys why they don't play certain songs, such as "No Way", "All Those Yesterdays" etc.

My question: "Come on, for real, no bullshit..what's up with the Avocado?"

Ok,this may sound like I made this up but i shit u not. i swear to god.

My grandmas friends son is a writer who writes for the band. Anyway, through an incredibly lucky series of circumstances Eddie Vedder called my house and i got to talk to him. 8-)

And this was the exact question i asked him. :)

His answer was something along the lines of 'because it has nothing to do with anything! Its so hard coming up with the artwork yourself that sometimes you just got to do something completely irrelavent and random'

We talked for a little while after that and i was the happiest person ever. :D:D:D

I believe you. not 100% sure I know what you mean about the "My grandmas friends son is a writer who writes for the band" part, but thanks for the post. wait a minute, you're just kidding and shit? ha, ha. anyway you're reason sounds about right. I've read somewhere about the fact that the whole Avocado on the cover is a random/punk thing, like "we could put anything like an avocado on the cover and doesn't matter..it's about what's inside, the music". which is true. I dunno though, I just had a feeling there was something else to it...

but I'm not so sure I have that feeling anymore.
