oooo, I'm sorry. Giving distances via the metric system automatically disqualifies you. Judges? Yes, I'm sorry, you are out of the running. Again, so sorry.

The rest of the world is metric. The US is silly for not converting.

Here is my favourite story about this silliness: http://gometric.us/xwiki/bin/view/Blog/2009-05-30-NASA-Puts-Astronaughts-At-Risk-With-Measurement

No way, I got ya by about 3000 miles or 4800 km. Putting my Dunsborough - LA return at about 16,000 kms.

But either way, I tink I'll be the person who has travelled the furthest for LA4. Hopefully I can find my way to the pre and post gig functions.

I flew to the Gorge the other year from Pittsburgh. But that is not a big deal. Anyone can plan out a trip weeks in advance and sit on a plane. What is really interesting, what is the furthest you have driven in one day to see PJ? I drove from Pittsburgh to Boston, 576 miles and over 10 hours of actual driving, for the Boston 3 experiment. Considering how early that show started, I was up quite early! BEST DECISION EVER!

After the show, we drove another 355 miles (6+ hours) before we got to bed around 6:00 AM. After maybe 2-3 hours of sleep, we spent the entire day at Hershey Park, and caught PJ there that night.
