    ok shoulda specified ... I'm also making a live mix for this person. on that, I planned on using the Benaroya version, but I'll take yours into consideration.

    Now, as for the studio mix I'm making, which studio version would you use?

    August 2006 - Sportpalase Antwerp, Belgium - The greatest Black, full electric show, large crowd - hands down. The crowd bringing the "do do do do do do dooo" singalong for the final 4 mins of the 10 minute masterpiece is sheer ecstasy every time I hear it...the fact Ed and Matty jump back in is simply why this band is the best (in my humlbest of opinions)

    MTV Unplugged - "We Belong Together" - 'nuff said :)

    Becoming very partial to Brendan O'Brien's work on Black (Legacy) for a studio version...so, yeah "C" :D

    I have to admit I'm a big fan of the 4/3/94 Atlanta black. I think its from around the 4:40 mark of the song :) but whatever version its an amazingly powerful song and easily one of their best.

    The nice touch with atlanta is that Dave stops drumming in the chorus. Very very nice touch and it works brilliantly.

    i actually just made a mix for my dad and i used the mar03 tokyo version.
    good piano..ed kills it with one of the longest "all that i'll beeeeeeeeeeee"s i ever heard
    and a good "i fuckin know you'll be a star"..reminds me of the band from the old school movie
