Remember the Rumor Pit?
Or what about www.fivehorizons.com? That was a fansite! I wonder if they ever hang out on the old porch forums. Those people were sensitive moderators!
Its funny to think back to those days when the internet was learning to crawl.
I remember waiting for hours to download a single mp3 of a live radio bootleg of Not For You (2.8.8kbps) , then hooking up my computer to my stereo and recording it on a mixed tape. I was way ahead of the curve.
Now we've got goggle and its all too easy to be a fan.

I loved the rumor pit. They used to actually give us info and comment on rumors. The digital lounge thing they have been doing is similar but can't compare to the excitement the Rumor Pit created.0

that was right around when i was really getting into the band... probably a little after... but i found them

the digital lounge needs to be a little more active if they wanna compete with the rumor pit... i know theyve been busy with finalizing album/tour plans... but come on!

There was a site back in the late 90s - it was evenflow.simplenet.com or evenflow.microcosm.com or something like that - whomever ran that site, I want to say thanks! That site is what got me into Pearl Jam as a live band!!!"Trial and error isn't a bad way to learn how to build an aircraft, but it can be a disastrous way to learn how to build a civilization..."0

Bring back the Rumor Pit. That was my favorite part of the old Synergy site."I'll end up alone like I began..."
