What is the song played when Pearl Jam takes the stage?

I bet this has been posted before but I couldn't find it when I try searching past posts but what is the song (instrumental) that is played when Pearl Jam takes the stage? I just noticed it when I started to re-listed to several of my boots (in preparation of the Chicago shows!).

    It's an amazing piano piece by Philip Glass called Metamorphosis 2.

    depends.... last year it was Metamorphosis 2, but they used to master/slave as well

    Since it's a different song every tour, it would help if you told us which boots you're listening to.

    Didn't they only use that on the 2000 tour?

    Im trying to find the 'album' or whatever Metamorphises 2 comes from? If anyone can give me a heads up that would be great as i would love to listen to it all, i believe it was only written for a film or something?

    they also used a Neil Young song from On the Beach during the Euro 06 shows... my favourite curtain raiser to date. I think it was the title track, anyway amazing song and album.

    ....having said that they did not take the stage with this one, it was just part of the pre-show sounds. love the vibe it creates though!

    Off topic a bit...Does anyone know what version of Elderly Woman was played before Ed took the stage in Boston for his solo tour last year. It was like an Irish Version or something. It was pretty cool.

    It's track 2 on Philip Glass' 'Solo Piano' album. He wrote Metamorphosis for a stage production of the Kafka story. The composition was also reworked and used in the movie The Hours
