Who does a better job of covering PJ. Aaron Lewis' cover of Black or Seether's cover of Immortality?

    Hmmm, I'm probably of the minority in that I don't mind either of their covers - not as good as the originals obviously, but not as awful as some people would have you believe. I would go with Seether's Immortality.

    I like both but would say that seether nails immorality better then arron nails his pj covers. To say they suck is crazy imo.

    Seether. They pretty much nail Immortality including a pretty good take on the solo. Lewis can't even get the lyrics to Black correct.

    so if noone can cover PJ, then PJ shouldnt be allowed to do any more covers from now on either.....

    I've had the chance to see them both. You can't compare, each Band adds their own mark to the songs. I've also had the chance to hear Arron play black on his solo tour. Both bands kick ass! They both are also coming to the philly area if you like to see them. Staind on Aug 30th, and Seether on Oct3rd. If you havnt seen either of them spend the money, its worth it. See you all at the Philadelphia shows!!

    People are a little to protective of Pearl Jam. I am not a Seether or a Staind fan, and there are probably hundreds of bands I would rather cover a Pearl Jam song if I could choose. But the truth of the matter is, both songs are decent covers, and if they got a few more people to be Pearl Jam fans, even better.

    I don't think I have a copy of either song, but I have heard them both obviously, and I think Seether's is surprisingly good, and probably the better cover.
    words seem so out of place.

    Both bands are horrible, Staind's first album was decent then they went pop and seether has always sounded like a poor man's nirvana, but they did a good cover of immortality, got to give them that, to bad neither band will write a song half as good as anything pj has put out in their lifetime

    stainds first 2 cds got me through some rough times in my life when they came out. i have a few arron lewis solo boots and its amazing how much better he sounds when he isn't "screaming" and all.
