Not For You/ Law & Order theme song

So I was watching Law and Order the other day while I'm watching some old pearl jam videos on youtube and While I was watching Not For You from SNL 1994, I realized something. Am I the only one who thinks Not For You and the Law & Order song sound eerily similar? I just can't believe it took me this long to realize it.

    I posted a thread a billion years ago on this and I don't think I was the first to say so. Every time I watch that, I hear Not for you. If Coldplay did the song, I'm sure someone would sue them.

    good call putting those clips up. Now when I listen to Not For You, all I hear is Law and Order. It's terrible

    After watching that SNL video it occurred to me just how much I'd love it if Matt actually slowed down a bit and they played it at that tempo live these days. :roll:

    And it would sound like poo........because every one else is the band sounds complete different.

    I think they play a lot of songs faster cuz that way Ed doesn't have to fill all of the space w/ his voice anymore...which would be a struggle on the older songs...it blends better

    I disagree.The beginning of Not for you is 4 chords Law and Order has like 6. And they aren't even the same chords for that matter. I could be wrong
