  • Yeah but this is the GENERAL sale, no?!

Tuesday was for preorders (even though eventually it turned out that anyone could buy them) so today is for the general public ?? :?

Maybe it will just appear on there at 9am. Or HMV's own version of 9am, 08:49.

    urgh I hate this bit.

The worst bit is I'm seeing Graham Coxon tonight. I'll either be wrecked with grief and be too sorrowful to enjoy it or so deliriously happy they could put James Blunt on stage and I'd still be rejoicing.

NOWT on HMV, no second link either. Nothing on Ticketmaster either.

AND the slowest queue in the world on Ticketweb. Sigh.

yeah, I cancelled my preorder. Although if anyone could get through last time maybe they won't notice? I thought they would check the ticket list against the album list and cancel anyone who didn't preorder the album. I don't think I could cope with having tickets and then having them cancelled on me. :(

Right, voice of negativity here....how much are people willing to pay? When all is said and done, none of us have tickets, ebay is our only option. There is a pair of tickets for £375...split between two, that's not bad...at least less than i paid for the astoria. Who would consider doing this?

the link at the front of the TW site has a PJ link. click on it and then on the shep emp link and it puts you in a queue FOR NO REASON! Search for pearl jam in the box thingy and the ticket listing will come up with no queue. Much easier. ...Or maybe the queue is some special thing I'm not aware of?!

But yeah, that queue page is dire. Why is it so slow?! Last night it took me 15-20 minutes to get past the queue page

Oh, sorry guys - the queue I am trying to break into is one I got sent in a general promo link from Shep Bush Empire events. Which might I add, I doubt goes anywhere other than the exact same page on Ticketweb for booking the damn thing which is currently showing up as not on sale yet...five windows open and crossing fingers!!

The best guess I can give on this is that HMV have decided to use the batch originally assigned for general sale as the unlucky-preorderers sale instead... but don't want to admit it. How pissed off would you be if you hadn't pre-ordered and were going to just do the general sale?

I don't know how anybody else feels about this but I am not prepared to pay people on Ebay ridiculous money - for the simple fact that if we DON'T keep buying then they might eventually get the point and stop selling them on there for that kind of money! Ok, so the arguement being someone else will just buy them but I personally don't want to buy into that industry which is clearly corrupt, they clearly often get tickets before general sale and theyjsut get away with it whilst fans suffer. SO if I can't get tickets through here, or third time lucky through ticketweb today, then I will have to face it and just not go.

Also - sad but true possibly for many of us - on a freelance income in this current awful economy, I simply cannot afford to pay more than the face value for these tickets - well, unless I don't eat for a month :-D

I definitely would. The way I see it, with travel, food, hotels and tourism, each foreign PJ show for me comes out at about £200. So by that logic this tiny show is worth at least that. Less than 400 for a pair is almost a bargain in tout world.

My only qualm would be if the tickets were legit or not. The number of people who got fake tickets at the astoria worried me quite a bit

Don't worry about my inane ramblings. Since when have I said anything remotely useful?! :p

Theres a PJ link on the front page of TW, but through that there's no obvious "click here for tickets" link although both the date and venue appear as links. I clicked on the Shep Em link and it put me in a queue for some unknown reason (definitely not a ticket queue). So I aborted and just searched for PJ to get the proper listings page without the paranoia of something going wrong last minute
